Steps towards the debate:

  1. Check out the Google Sheet emailed to you to see your topic and group
  2. In collaboration with the others, create one Google Folder to start uploading websites, quotes, pdfs to share with others.
  3. Research, research, research.
  4. As you start to collect notes, be sure you are looking at both sides and give equal time to both.
  5. Prepare your script / thoughts for your Podcast. Whether you have a written script or speaking off the top of your head, you need the following:
    1. Professional tone
    2. Equal time for both sides
    3. Little to no background noise
    4. Clear, crisp recording of your voice
    5. Time: minimum – 2 minutes, 30 seconds
    6. Due: Monday, May 13th (upload to a Google Folder that we send you the link to)
  6. Continue to look through your topic as you may be debating on behalf of either side. Along with this, you could be paired up with anyone in your topic group.
  7. Debate day/times: TBD
