Introductory Paragraph
The first paragraph is your one and only chance to make a first impression on the reader. Just like real life, be sure to make your introduction interesting and entertaining. Hook your reader so they will be thrilled at the thought of reading your essay.
Your thesis statement belongs at the end of this paragraph.
Practice
Take some of the thesis statements you wrote earlier and add an introductory paragraph to them. Post them on your blog.
